The Regional Cloud Seeding Program completed a research study, the results of which herald an increase in rainfall and the density of cumulonimbus clouds under conditions limited to Mekka and the Holy Sites.
The study included all weather elements in Taif Governorate with the aim of increasing the chances of improving the weather in Mekka and the Holy Sites.
The research study team is expected to participate in the upcoming international rain enhancement conference to present this important study, share its results with experts and specialists, and shed light on the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia regarding the issue of improving and modifying the weather. The program will also conduct practical experiences to complete the research elements of the study and share its details with relevant parties.
